Expert Environmental Council to RIEW-Sofia chaired a meeting concerning documentation on Strategic Environmental Assessment on Master Plan of Gorna Malina Municipality

On 23.01.2017, in Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water (RIEW) – Sofia, the Expert Environmental Council (EEC) to RIEW-Sofia chaired a meeting. Documentation on Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), incl. the attached Compatibility Assessment (CA) on Master Plan of Gorna Malina Municipality were subject to the meeting.
Representatives of the Contracting Authority – Municipality of Gorna Malina, representatives of the Contractor of SEA and CA – experts from “P-United” Ltd., representatives of the Regulatory Authority – RIEW-Sofia, experts from Regional Inspetorate of Health, members of the EEC and others took part at the meeting.
The main architect from Municipality of Gorna Malina presented the scope, tasks and forecastings of the Master Plan of Gorna Malina Municipality.
The head of the team of experts from “P-United” Ltd. that had prepared the SEA Report and the Compatibility Assessment presented the main results achieved as well as the conclusions, the assessment and the proposed measures in the SEA Report and the Compatibility Assessment.
As a result the RIEW-Sofia’s Director issued a Statement on Strategic Environmental Assessment № СО-01-01/2017, through which agreed the Master Plan of Gorna Malina Municipality.
